2. Adverts for two in one Thrush treatments at tea time. I don't care if you've got an itchy chuff hen, especially when I'm eating my dinner and adverts for f*cking tampoons. Scented ones - anti tuna ones more like. Not very politically correct my friend - but I have to say I've just nearly pissed myself from laughing so much! Talking of which that advert for the "natural laxative" is fairly gross too. You know the one with the pretty middle-aged woman having a shower at the end with that "My goodness, have I just had a great shit or what!" look on her face! Brilliant! Biff |

Wow! It all got a bit heated there for a while! Let's all calm down and count to 10.....and breathe......and breathe! Are we all doing our pelvic floors? Anyhooooooo, let's get on with it! Today's 101s are: 1) Ghosts - they don't exist! Please stop perpetuating the myth that 'once I saw a white shape and it was the ghost of an old lady who was murdered in that house 30 years ago and it glided across the hall and looked at me and it was smiling'. No you didn't because they don't bloody exist!!!!! Additionally that stupid 'Ghostwatch' programme on Sky is a total pile of dog plop (however it is funny watchin that scouse bloke (Derek) moving the table during the seances! 2) Noisy van/truck reversing sounds - the guy next door has a van that beeps really annoyingly when he backs it in. Even worse are the trucks that give out a warning 'vehicle reversing' etc, constantly. Why do you need to be warned? If you don't know the f*ckin thing's reversing you deserve to get run over! 3) Hyde - for those not in the know it's a town 10 miles from Manchester, famous for being the home of Harold Shipman, one of Britain's worst serial killers. It's a frightful, scary and abnormal town, full of strange people with high foreheads, who are married to their brothers/sisters/cousins/mothers. Awful place for a night out as all the men wear white shirts, coffee coloured chinos and those black shoes with a dotted black 'w' on the front (w*nker shoes) and want to beat you up. Shopping in Hyde is also dangerous as the locals charge you double what they pay for being 'from Manchester'. All children from Hyde are called Kyle or Aaron and are 'misunderstood' and 'hyperactive'! Hmmmmm! And yes this is stereotyping! Obviously this is a picture of a 'real' ghost and we should all be terrified! On no account could it be a dodgy film, bad film processing, light effects, smoke, etc. Naturally we should assume that it is a very very very scary ghost and it's gonna get us! WOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH!!! |

today's pet hate is towards who ever published the various editions of Stephen King's Dark Tower series. As it was published over 20 years it spans King's 2 major publishers. It's a 7 book series, which I have in 4 different styles!!! The first 3 I have in the first publisher's trade paperback format (as they weren't released in hardback to the general public). Book 4 I have in that publishers new cover style trade paperback format (they reissued the first 3 when the 4th came out all with new covers). Book 5 I have in King's new publisher's hardback format, as his new publisher finally started releasing them in that format. Books 6 & & in have in the European publisher's hardback format, which of course, has different style cover art to the American version. Now to get a matched set, I have to repurchase a minimum 5 books, the first 4 of which still are't widely available in hardback! Grrrrrrrrr |
